We listen to a lot of worship music. And we play in worship bands. And in the process, we learn awesome music. This is our way of sharing some of the songs we love.
Most of what’s on this site for now is a result of a project Sarah did for a class she’s taking. Some people in the class expressed an interest in resources that talk about contemporary worship music. Our guess is that there are others out there that are also looking for some ideas for good worship songs.
Here’s some of what you might find in a discussion about a song:
- when in the church year it can be used.
- how it might be used in worship.
- how this song might be prepared by musicians and then taught to a congregation.
- some challenges that a group might encounter while preparing the piece and /or that a
congregation might have in learning or singing it.
- recordings of it to check out, where to find chord charts, and a link to a youtube video.
